Call to Order:  Mayor Dan Noss called the meeting to order at6:00 PM.

 

Motioned by Venske and seconded by Turner to accept the minutes of the regular city council meetings on December 13, 2023.

 

Payment of the Bills as presented was motioned by Wright and seconded by Turner.  Motion carried.

 

Public Comment/Requests:

None

Donation Requests/Donations Accepted

Motioned by Turner and seconded by Wright to approve resolution 1102024 accepting $500.00 from Randall VFW for the food pantry. Motion Carried.

Motioned by Venske and seconded by Turner Approve resolution 1102024-2 accepting a $250.00 donation for trees in the Randall City Cemetery. Motion Carried.

Motioned by Turner and seconded by Wright to approve the 2024 fee schedule. Motion Carried.

Motioned by Turner and seconded by Venske to approve the 2024 appointments. Motion Carried.

Motioned by Turner and seconded by Wright to approve the purchase of a new replacement jet mixer pump for the WWTP from MN pump works at a cost of $8100.08. Motion Carried.

Motioned by Venske and seconded by Turner to approve the utility policy and procedures guidelines. Motion Carried.

Motioned by Venske and seconded by Turner to not waive the tort liability limits. Motion Carried

Committee Reports:

 

Matt/City Manager/Liquor Store: 

Yearend liquor inventory was completed on January 2^nd. The 2023 financial audit is scheduled for the week of January 22^nd. Staff will be working on annual reports for the gas and electric system and the state auditor.
