Meeting called to order at 6:00 by Riitters with all members present along with guest Jim Chyba.
The purpose of the meeting was to interview candidates for the City Maintenance position.
There were a total of 14 applicants for the position the personnel board reviewed the resumes and recommended bringing in the 6 of the applicants for an interview.
Each of these were contacted and offered an interview. One of applicants withdrew from the process on their own behalf. Each of the remaining 5 were brought in and asked the same 9 questions along with a few follow up questions. Each interview lasted approximately 15 minutes. After the last interview the Council discussed each of the candidates for about 90 minutes. After much discussion the Council agreed that Patrick Kalis was the best candidate for the job.
Council directed Pantzke to contact each of the candidates on Monday December 19 with the results. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 pm
